Very short

Disappointing. "The Ultimate Trail Running Guide for Beginners" only took me 10 minutes to read. There is hardly enough here to make a magazine article. No diagrams, pictures, or lists. If you have a free option then go for it. I feel cheated that I paid three bucks for it. Caveat emptor.

This is an excellent book, it gives a comprehensive report of what you need to do to engage your self with trail running. A lot of the tips that is mentioned in this book I already new since I have being trail running for the last 5 years now and my experience is depicted in my first book Thirsty For Health.
They were a lot though that I learned from this book and it’s always a good idea to refresh knowledge that you already know. Repetition is the mother of learning.
Very useful book for people that are newbie’s to trail running and the language is plain and simple to follow.

Excellent Detailed Book on AVR Assembly programming

This book is an excellent source of very useful details on assembly language programming of the AVR family of microcontrollers. It is also a very good "how to" book on how to use ATMELs starter kit boards and xplained boards for the AVR. For those without a formal education and training in assembly programming of microcontrollers, this is a must read. I am 90 pages into it and it has already cleared up a dozen misconceptions and problems that I was having programming the chips and using the starter kit boards. It really lets you get the most out of these devices.

It goes far beyond the help files that one finds in ATMEL's Visual Studio 5 software and offers very practical instructions and information. It's the best book purchase that I have ever made on Amazon.com and is well worth the price.

Excellent comprehensive guide to the AVR

I LOVE this book. I've read through the entire XMEGA AU Manual, and had just started diving into assembly. This book explained in detail all the things I have been confused about, and has been invaluable in clearing up many things I was confused about. I'm about a third of the way through it, and it really is leaving no stone un-turned. That being said, I think this is a book targeted towards those who have some experience programming and dealing with digital devices, and who aren't afraid of diving in and getting their hands dirty. It complements the AVR device manuals and datasheets very well, going over the details Atmel assumes their readers already know.

Excellent book.

So far this book is treating me well. I already had a great deal of information on Atmel AVR assembler printed out from Atmel website and organized into a giant ring binder, but this book some how manages to incorporate all that information into a smaller and nicely presented format.

I use an ATMEGA2560 board (from an Arduino reference) and an Atmel AVR XMEGA-A1 XPlained boards for my projects. I use Atmel AVRISP mkII programmer to load code into the chips via Atmel Studio 6 (free development environment from Atmel). That is pretty much all you will need to get started. If you love doing manual soldering and tinkering then you will be okay with a 2560 board, because you will need to make your own LED output boards, switch boards, etc. The XMEGA-A1 board has majority of that stuff already built-in.

New territory for me, but what a ride it was. A very good read :D

Tickling Daphne H. follows a girl named Daphne who hates to be tickled. She loves her boyfriend, Dave, but his touches tickle her and he likes to try and tickle her a lot. Daphne is embarrassed and shy by her reactions to it. But after a fight with her stepmother, Carol, Daphne makes a realization about herself...that she may have an addiction to tickling. But she is too scared and confused to admit it. Daphne is on a journey to understand her addiction and how to share it with her boyfriend.

I did it again. I never thought the day would come I would read BDSM. Come to find out, I like it a lot. I never thought I would read a book about fetishes and well...here we are. But thank goodness this was about tickling. I know I wouldn't be able to handle more than that. This book was sexy and downright adorable all at once. I have heard of tickling fetishes and thought, of course, that it was a little weird. But this book really opened my eyes. This book took me by surprise.

I liked Daphne a lot in this book. Although, she had quite a bit of bratty moments. She acted a bit childish at times in this book. But you do understand after a while. We find that she suffers from more than trying to accept her fetish. There are a lot of fears and things that have taken place in her past that brought on her fetish. There are the issues she has with her stepmother Carol who is quite bossy and overbearing. She will do anything to make sure she gets what she wants. Mainly tickle Daphne for hours on end. Yeah, you read that right. I liked that Frances used this because it never occurred to me that you could use tickling in a way to humiliate and torture someone. After reading this, it made sense. But the scenes made you smile sometimes and other times, you do see the humiliation.

I loved this idea of coming to terms with a fetish. I understood why Daphne was scared and confused. I loved how her boyfriend Dave loves tickling. He is afraid to tell Daphne he is turned on by tickling. I liked that Carol (who also has a tickling fetish) was able to explain it all to her first. She may not want to face it, but it does help a bit. But we do find out what caused her fetish. We also find out what started Dave's as well. I loved the development of this. I didn't see that coming. It definitely made me understand this book more.

This book was sexy and I did enjoy it. The beginning took me a while to get into due to just trying to grasp the tickling thing. But after a while, it all came together. But there are scenes that do seem to last a little long. That really is my only complaint. Some scenes were a bit silly, but I still enjoyed the book a lot. But the erotic scenes was a new experience for me and I liked them a lot. This is definitely worth checking out.

When I read this, I thought the story couldn't get any better than the first chapter, Boy was I wrong!!! Veronica came out swinging and never lost her momentum. non stop action throughout the story and the characters were so alive, I felt like I knew them. a truly fun read.

A Ticklish Delight!

This is a very erotic and romantic book and I highly recommend it!

Daphne starts out as more than a bit of a brat but is a well developed character. She's not merely a brat for brattiness' sake. There are real personal issues, fears, and desires within her and family complexities that shape her behavior as she butts heads with her step-mother, her father, and her fiance'. The characters deal with these desires of course, or sometimes avoid them only to be forced to face them, with very ticklish solutions!

A few of the events in the book are outlandish, some are wonderfully outrageous, but they are all very erotic as broken hearts are mended and Daphne journeys to maturity, self-acceptance, and her reward of a romantic Tickle Wonderland!

Well-written biography that you can't put down!

"Yours Anne, The Life of Anne Frank" is about the life of the well- known girl Anne Frank. During World War II the Nazi's, ruled by Hitler, were on a rage to capture Jews of all ages and bring them to death camps, or what we know today as concentration camps. Anne and her family which consisted of her mother, Edith, her father, Otto, and her sister, Margot, were all Jews during this time which is now known as the Holocaust. On Anne's 13th birthday, she received a diary, which she was constantly writing in, she would write stories, the latest gossip, her crushes, or what was just going on in her daily life. But when Hitler's rage gets out of control, her family must go into hiding, in fear that they too, will be brought to a concentration camp. This hiding spot is known as "The Secret Annex". Can Anne and her family's hiding spot stay secret?

In 'The definition of literature', the title essay, the discussion turns on what kind of definition is to be recommended rather than on a particular formulation. 'On liberty of interpreting' examines the much-canvassed question of the relevance or otherwise to criticism of the author's intentions. In another essay it is argued that one widely favoured account of literary appraisal - that it deals with literature as literature - is in fact empty, while in an essay on the novel the author raises the question of how prose fiction can be thought of as being true to life. From these general questions Professor Robson moves on to consider particular works and authors in the light of the preceding discussion of critical principles. Essays on Treasure Island, Kidnapped and The Wind in the Willows are followed by surveys of Tennyson and Robert Frost, while the last four essays discuss literary questions by analysing what has been written about them by four distinguished poet critics: Hopkins, T. S. Eliot, I. A. Richards, and Yvor Winters. The overall aim of the volume is to take conversation about prose and poetry out of the limited and specialized literary or academic worlds in which it so often takes place and open it up to a broader world of reflective people, whoever and wherever they happen to be.

Two centuries after Cort�s and Pizarro seized the Aztec and Inca empires, Spain’s conquest of America remained unfinished. Indians retained control over most of the lands in Spain’s American empire. Mounted on horseback, savvy about European ways, and often possessing firearms, independent Indians continued to find new ways to resist subjugation by Spanish soldiers and conversion by Spanish missionaries.

In this panoramic study, David J. Weber explains how late eighteenthcentury Spanish administrators tried to fashion a more enlightened policy toward the people they called b�rbaros, or “savages.” Even Spain’s most powerful monarchs failed, however, to enforce a consistent, well-reasoned policy toward Indians. At one extreme, powerful independent Indians forced Spaniards to seek peace, acknowledge autonomous tribal governments, and recognize the existence of tribal lands, fulfilling the Crown’s oft-stated wish to use “gentle” means in dealing with Indians. At the other extreme the Crown abandoned its principles, authorizing bloody wars on Indians when Spanish officers believed they could defeat them. Power, says Weber, more than the power of ideas, determined how Spaniards treated “savages” in the Age of Enlightenment.
