Recommended reading as a self-help guide to shape work-place attitudes and behaviours.
Young professionals just starting out in their careers would do well to learn from the experiences and examples of Elango's (real world) characters.
Experienced professionals at cross-roads in their careers would gain from the insights of Elango's stories and anecdotes - an opportunity to reflect on what they have could have done differently in the past.
Very "portable" size - could carry it while traveling without weighing me down.

Easy to read professional advancement 101!

Enjoyed the "common man" stories and anecdotes that each of us can identify with. This book manages to communicate some simple yet hard-hitting messages that can open doors and help establish ones personal brand in the workplace and beyond. Its a quick read, so got done with the first pass in a day. Now savoring it slowly chapter by chapter again.
